How did famous tennis players respond to the Djokovic visa saga?

Sportsmanship in Tennis as revealed by Artificial Intelligence Software.
What famous tennis players REALLY think and FEEL?

As Sigmund Freud remarked:

“No mortal can keep a secret. If his lips are silent, he chatters
with his fingertips; betrayal oozes out of him at every pore.”

What do the famous tennis players really think about the number one tennis player Novak Djokovic? Here you are going to find out what Artificial Intelligence says about emotions that tennis players revealed.

To do this, we have used software for Facial Expression Recognition that we have developed.
V. Matic, PhD works on this problem for several years. We have analyzed the expressions using video recordings and by applying AI we are able to reveal the sentiments of the players.

In the past, we have analyzed thousands of videos of people and monitored their reactions in the marketing industry.

In particular, the software is developed so that it is very sensitive to subtle facial movements and has a high detection accuracy.

We can distinguish between the following emotions: neutral, happy, surprise, anger, fear, disgust, and sadness.
In this study, we have conducted an experiment where we have analyzed the facial expressions of famous tennis players, while they were commenting on the current saga (15.01.2022.) of Novak Djokovic and the cancellation of his visa.

Stephanos Tsitsipas

Daniel Medvedev once said about Tsitsipas in 2018 in Miami “He is a small kid who doesn’t know how to fight”.
However, Tsitsipas proved that he is not a small kid anymore that knows to backhand the journalist question. As we can see during this question Tsitsipas was showing neutral and sad emotions.

Andy Murray

Although he is a friend with Novak, Murray remained politically correct: “He didn’t want to kick Novak while he is down”. Have a look at the emotions that we have detected.

Nick Kyrgios

For a long time, Nick was someone who was criticizing Novak a lot publicly. However, this time Nick Kyrgios surprised us with his empathy when he decided to unselfishly support his fellow tennis player Novak Djokovic. Have a look at what our software says while Nick expresses his point of view.

Rafael Nadal

Rafael Nadal had many battles and duels with Novak on the court. He stated that the Australian Open is above any single player. However, let’s see how he comments Djokovic’s Australian visa saga off-court. We were (slightly) surprised or not at all!
