Everyone has a right to feel safe and secure. Of course, being completely safe is not an easy task. Security comes from having the information you want when you want it. For the team of engineers at Canary that is the guiding principle. Their belief is that the best technology makes you smarter, puts you in control, and gives you access to the information you need. That’s why they are dedicated to developing easy-to-use technology that protects, empowers, and has a meaningful impact on people, families, and their communities.
Canary is a compact single device. It includes a 1080p HD camera, night vision, motion-activated recording, and air quality sensors. Through their app they are connecting your home to your phone in HD video, from anywhere at any time.
How does it work?
Canary automatically changes modes when you enter and leave your home. There are no complicated keypad codes to remember. Next, when a motion is detected, Canary records HD video and audio and sends it to your phone, with an alert. In an emergency, it sounds the 90-decibel siren or connects with local police right from the Canary app. Video clips are stored free for 24 hours of the 30 days with Premium Service that gives customers all the evidence in case that needed.
There are 4 modes on a Canary app:
Away Mode
When all members are away, Canary monitors for activity and sends notifications.
Home Mode
When a member is at home, Canary automatically disarms itself based on your settings.
Night Mode
Schedule Canary to monitor for activity and send you notifications while you sleep.
Private Mode
When set to private, Canary’s camera and microphone are fully disabled.
Canary is one of the leading private indoor video companies on the market. It has hundreds of thousands of customers today, including thousands of small and medium-sized businesses. Also, 20 to 30 percent of Canary users already own a home security or automation system when they buy their cameras. Their cameras have captured everything from burglaries and accidents as well as cute pet antics that users then post to social media.
